What we collect
When you shop on Sniped, we collect the information you give us at checkout — name, email, shipping address, phone number, and payment details processed by our payment provider. We also collect basic device and usage data (browser, pages viewed, referrer) via first-party cookies to keep the site working and to understand what's popular.
How we use it
- — Fulfill and ship your orders, and email order updates.
- — Provide customer support and process returns or warranty claims.
- — Improve product ranking, search, and recommendations.
- — Send you marketing emails only if you opt in — you can unsubscribe from any email.
- — Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and account takeover.
Who we share it with
We share limited information with the service providers that make the store work — payment processing, fulfillment, shipping carriers, email delivery, error monitoring, and analytics. Advertising and analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 and Google Ads conversion tracking on this site. These services set first-party cookies and collect device, browser, and on-site behavior data (pages viewed, products viewed, items added to cart, purchases) so we can measure our advertising and show relevant ads on Google properties and partner sites. Purchase events send order value, currency, and a transaction ID, plus a hashed (irreversible) version of your email or phone number for conversion accuracy. We never send Google your card details or full address.
You can opt out of Google's advertising cookies through Google Ads Settings, or block analytics entirely with the Google Analytics Opt-out add-on. Blocking them does not affect your ability to shop or check out.
Cookies
We use first-party cookies for cart state, login sessions, analytics, and advertising measurement as described above. You can clear cookies at any time from your browser; some features (cart, wishlist) won't persist without them.
Your rights
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by emailing hello@sniped.com. We respond within 30 days. Residents of California, Colorado, Virginia, and the EU/UK have additional rights under local law — the same email is the fastest way to exercise them.
Data retention
We keep order records for as long as needed to service warranties, returns, and accounting obligations (typically 7 years). Marketing and account data are kept while your account is active and for a reasonable period after closure; then deleted or anonymized.
Security
Card data is handled by our payment processor and never stored on Sniped servers. Traffic is encrypted in transit (TLS). Access to production systems is limited to authorized staff and logged. No system is perfectly secure — report suspected issues to hello@sniped.com.
Children
Sniped is not intended for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect data from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, email hello@sniped.com and we'll delete it.
Changes to this policy
We'll post material changes on this page and update the "Updated" date. For substantive changes affecting existing accounts, we'll also email registered users.
