Our approach
Sniped is designed and built to work toward the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. We use semantic HTML, keyboard-navigable components, visible focus states, sufficient color contrast, and descriptive alt text on product photography.
What works today
- — Full keyboard navigation across the storefront, search, cart, and checkout.
- — Semantic headings and landmark regions so screen readers can navigate quickly.
- — Color contrast that meets or exceeds WCAG AA for body text and interactive elements.
- — Descriptive link text and alt text on product images.
- — Forms with associated labels and clear error states.
Known limitations
Some third-party embeds (video reviews, brand widgets) may not fully meet WCAG AA. If any content on Sniped is blocking your ability to shop, we'll help you complete the task by phone or email while we fix it.
